Diploma in Financial Management (DFM)

Objectives :

Finance is believed to be soul of any kind of business trading, manufacturing, services which lead the entire business in proper direction. Proper management of finance essential not only to generate good profits but also to run the business smoothly because scarcity of finance will disturb the entire business. Large business houses, manufacturing units, insurance companies, banks keep finance controller that are normally done by M.B.A. or C.F.A. To control business by such experts is not only need of large scale business but equally essential in small business, but small businessman can not afford MBA’s or CFA’s, so a person who has done such type of course can work as finance consultant and it may become a good business opportunity for them. In the earlier phase probably they have to work under some specialist and with practical experience later on they can start their own consultancy. Even a person doing job in this field already, can get promotion by doing such type of course. Moreover finance controlling activities are not only applicable in urban area it is equally important in rural area where farmers have become millionaires. So such type of course can be helpful to the students of rural area.

Fees of the Course :

MALE:Rs.2200/-           FEMALE:Rs.1600/-

Structure of the Course :

There will be 36 credits in total, contained within syllabus.

Evaluation :

Constant Evaluation: (weightage– 30%)

Students will have to submit assignments given to them before the specified time limit.

Final Examination: (weightage– 70%)

Each student will have to appear for final examination at the end of the year and if he/she could not  clear examination, they can appear in the next final examination subject to maximum of four trials. If the student cannot clear the examination in four trials then he/she will have to re-register them self for the course.

Standard Of Success :

For the successful completion of the course, the student has to complete the assignments as well as Final examination with minimum scoring of 40% marks.
